Welcome
to the Sanger Meeks School of Metalsmithing & Jewelry Design!
We are a small one room studio & school loacated at the
foot of Mount Peak in Enumclaw, Wa.
The setting is dramatic, here at our small ranchette with the
mountain rising up behind the property. The grounds are lushly manicured
and the energy is quietly playful.
We
offer a variety of classes designed to help you begin making beautiful
artistic jewelry components from the very first class! We also strive to help you develop
skills at the jeweler’s bench that will allow you to create any form that
your mind can conceive!
Students
will begin learning mainly on copper and then move to silver as the
budget allows. The school provides
all the necessary tools and supplies, to complete the suggested project.
These necessary supplies are included in the Lab/Materials fee for each
class. Additional embellishments
can be brought from home by the student or on a limited basis, purchased
at class.
Class
sizes are very limited usually 4-5 students, so there is ample one on one
time with your instructor. It is
our highest priority that you go home smiling at the end of your class
segment with a beautiful finished component, ready to hang on a cord and
wear, or use in your next beaded jewelry creation!
